About Love Cockerton

The Cockerton Community and Business Group is a not-for-profit, volunteer-led organisation in Darlington. We connect local people and businesses to share ideas, values and plan events to benefit the whole area.

We organise very popular local events like the Cockerton Carnival, the Cockerton Christmas Tree Light Switch On, and the Cockerton Community Dog Show. We also raise funds for important causes like St Teresa's Hospice.

Every penny we raise goes straight back into Cockerton. This helps us support, improve and invest in the place we all call home. We hold regular community and business meetings where members can connect, share ideas and coordinate with local business support teams.

We're proud of our village and we want to help it thrive.
